Job Description:

Indian Motorcycle of Northern Kentucky is looking for a professional technician who wants to work a 5 day work week always getting Sunday and Monday off in a well lit, comfortable, air-conditioned and heated service shop. The kind of person we are looking for has a Gung Ho attitude and is an energetic, upbeat, positive attitude as well as a team player. The technician we are looking for will enjoy the victory of seeking out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what is right for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical diagnosis and repair

  • Engine diagnosis, repairs, and rebuilds

  • Transmission diagnosis and repairs

  • Routine maintenance and services

  • Accessory installation

  • Tire changes

  • Shop clean up

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of diagnosis and repair

  • Must have a current motorcycle license in good standing or have one within 6 months of employment

  • Reliable transportation

  • Good attendance record at past places of employment

  • Physical ability to perform tasks assigned

  • Ability to follow instructions

Job Description:

Support Service Department management and technicians by providing simple motorcycle maintenance tasks and other related service activities, while training for more complex and responsible duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Check tire/suspension pressures

  • Check/change engine oil

  • Provide support to technicians as requested

  • Participate in training as required

  • Clean motorcycles after servicing

  • Maintain service shop order and cleanliness

Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license with motorcycle endorsement

  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and handle tools

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs of material

  • Ability to balance and push a 700+ lb motorcycle

Job Description:

Provide motorcycle shoppers with product and sales insights that result in the purchase of new and used motorcycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish productive, documented relationships with sales leads, in person or electronically

  • Follow up leads/sales on an ongoing basis

  • Provide accurate product and sales information to shoppers

  • Secure lead and purchase intent information

  • Secure trade-in information, and write credit applications

  • Arrange demonstration ride

Requirements:

  • Understanding of basic desktop computer programs

  • Thorough understanding of product specifications, features, benefits

  • Thorough understanding of sales processes

  • Understanding of basic transaction requirements

  • Ability to establish customer relationships

Qualifications:

  • Motorcycle endorsement on license

Job Description:

Performs a variety of customer service, in store marketing, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealerships parts department. Ongoing responsibility for assisting with the counter parts sales and customer service responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Sells products and/or services to repair/upgrade motorcycles and meet the customer's needs

  • Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledge all customers he/she comes in contact with

  • Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly

  • Record all sales and/or customer transactions that occur

  • Provide service technicians with parts as required

  • Maintains the retail sale floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealership and customer standards.

  • Controls showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction

  • Performs routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhances the cleanliness of products and the retail sales area

  • When working the parts counter, follows prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures of the dealership

  • Processes new return merchandise as required at a point of sale

  • Attends training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description

  • Uses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license, preferably with motorcycle endorsement

  • Understanding of computer systems and computer skills

  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, climb ladders, and handle tools

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds of material

  • Professional demeanor and appearance

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and staff

  • Have some mechanical aptitude and like working around motorcycles

  • While specific parts sales experience is not required, it is desirable
